CLT’s New Teaching Pro, Carlos Correia
CLT program has grown to 75 members and in order to maintain our level of service and expand CLT hired another teaching pro, Carlos Correia. Peter Ramsay has done a tremendous job covering all lessons, clinics, leagues, juniors, mixers and other events for our membership. As our head pro he will continue to serve these areas and continue to his dedicated efforts to the tennis program and our growing needs.
In order to meet the expanding needs of CLT and to further enrich our program, CLT is excited to announce the addition of Carlos Correia. Carlos has been a staple in the Rockwall tennis community for several years. Most recently he has been responsible for running the RISD’s public tennis program and before that he ran Rockwall Tennis Unlimited’s program. Carlos will officially start teaching Tuesday, May 7th. He will teach a 4.0 clinic from 7pm-9pm on Tuesdays on court 1. It is a RSVP clinic and he will take the first 12 players. He is also teaching private lessons and will run ladies teams.

Cinco de Mayo Calcutta Fundraiser
We had 59 people attend the Calcutta Party on Friday, May 3. There were 21 teams playing with 2 flights of both men’s and women’s on May 4, Saturday Tournament. It was well organized and GREAT fun! Thanks to everyone attending the tournament/Calcutta, CLT Committee, and Allure!

Kathy Langer of CLT not only captained the Queens Cup (women 75+) team to a win over Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Germany to win the Cup on September 16, in Novigrad, Croatia, but combined with her teammate to win the doubles at the 32nd ITF Individual Super Senior World Championship the following week in Umag, Croatia.
